Two pieces on the wall. High up, a small round flange carries a short shower arm that curves down into a flat eight inch rain head, a thin disc with a plain rim and a face of evenly spaced nozzles. At waist height, a plain round valve plate carries a short cylindrical hub and a single slim round lever.

Left unlacquered, the brass is alive. It starts warm and golden, then darkens where hands and water reach it, keeping its light where they do not. Within a few months it settles into a deep amber with darker tones in every recess, a finish no coating can imitate. If you prefer it bright again, a soft cloth and a little brass polish bring it back in minutes.

Cast, turned and finished by hand in solid brass. No plating, no lacquer, no shortcuts.
