Two low, flat round feet sit on the deck. Each valve column rises as a plain cylinder with a single slim ring low on its body, then draws in through a smooth waisted collar to a short flat-topped cap, from which a straight round lever reaches out. A bridge tube runs between the columns, ringed once on each side of the center riser. That riser climbs straight into a wide gooseneck spout, ending in a short straight-cut sleeve set off by a single fine ring. A matching side sprayer stands apart on its own flat foot, with a smooth tapered body, a plain cylindrical head and a flat trigger.

Left unlacquered, the brass is alive. It starts warm and golden, then darkens where hands and water reach it, keeping its light where they do not. Within a few months it settles into a deep amber with darker tones in every recess, a finish no coating can imitate. If you prefer it bright again, a soft cloth and a little brass polish bring it back in minutes.
